Kidnapper Ariel Castro Commits Suicide In Prison Cell

53-Year-old former bus driver Ariel Castro who was sentenced to life in prison for abducting, raping and torturing three women has been found dead in his prison cell after apparently committing suicide.

He was sentenced to over 1,000 years in prison after pleading guilty to 937 charges which included rape, kidnapping, aggravated murder, relating to three women he abducted, abused and the forceful termination of one of their pregnancies.

Castro made headlines worldwide when Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight were freed from his Cleveland house after ten years of captivity.
