Governor Of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi Barred From Entering Government House

The ongoing crisis in Rivers State took another turn today as Governor of River State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his convoy were barred from using the two entrances to the state house earlier today by four truck loads of policemen led by several senior officers.

The governor met a barricaded entrance as He tried to make his was into the Government House on Thursday evening.

After 45 minutes, the governor's convoy took the Azikiwe road entrance to the government house. See pictures from the scene after the cut...
