Crash Averted As Two Planes Collide At Lagos Airport

Another crash was averted at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Friday as a Turkish Airline aircraft collided with a Max Air plane which had brought in Pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.

According to reports, the incident occurred as the Turkish Airplane taxied to the airport's apron after landing safely. It's wing was said to have collided with that of Max Airplane returning from Saudi Arabia..

The airplanes were taken away for immediate repairs as the damages were minor.
 
In the meantime, Mr. Fan Ndubuoke, Spokesman to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed the incident.
