What is our Nation turning into? When will this heinous act against mankind stop? Something sorrowful, lugubrious, heartbreaking, happened in Ondo State as a 4-year-old female pupil of Falaye Memorial Nursery and Primary School, Akure, was flogged to death by her teacher, Alade Adebayo, for being too stubborn.
The deceased, Elizabeth Wanogha, was rushed to a private hospital where she was pronounced dead after she was beaten to a state of coma by the heartless teacher.
In a conflicting report, the police authorities in Ondo State state said Elizabeth died two weeks after the beating. Alade is presently being quizzed at the state Criminal Investigative Department, SCID.
