Been a long time coming? Jonathan Finally Fires Stella Oduah

Stella Oduah finally got her sack 'letter' today as she was dropped by President Jonathan alongside three others; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, Minister of Police Affairs, Caleb Olubolade and the Minister of state for Finance, Dr Yerima Ngama.

The Aviation Minister came under heavy fire last year after spending N225 Million on two bullet proof cars and many other scandals that followed suit.

GEJ 2 vs 1 OBJ - Mujahid Asari Dokubo Writes Obasanjo, Calls Him ‘Chief Assassin’

So the first letter in the series of letters was from former President Olusegun Obasanjo...then President Jonathan replied...Well, it's Asari Dokubo's turn and he has written.


The leader of Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Dokubo Asari, on Thursday called former President Olusegun Obasanjo the “Chief Assassin of all times” in response to the former leader’s recent letter to President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a letter to Obasanjo, Dokubo, who has previously sworn that there will be hell on earth if Jonathan is not re-elected in 2015, rebutted Obasanjo’s claim that Jonathan is training a special killer squad to hit 1000 supposed opponents of his government.

"We don’t need cow, we need a country that will move forward!" - Pastor Tunde Bakare Rejects President Jonathan's Cow Gift

Me no want cow - Pastor Tunde Bakare on Sunday told his congregation at the Latter Rain Church about the presidential package he received from the president and why he rejected it. President Jonathan is said to have sent a cow gift to the spiritual leader cum politician.

Bakare said; “I had a cow from the Presidency. I didn’t ask for it. They dropped it at the Save Nigeria Group office… But is it cow that we need? If you check their books, one cow could have been bought for $5,000. The rest of the money is pocketed! We don’t need cow, we need a country that will move forward!”

Animal Kingdom: President Jonathan Budgets Millions Of Naira For Villa ZOO

According to details from the appropriation bill presented by Jonathan to the National Assembly, The Presidency  will  next year  spend  N34.5m on two  wild animals for the State House Zoo and car trackers for presidential ground fleet as well as utility vehicles.
 Punch reports;

Out of the sum, N14.5m  was set aside in the 2014 budget  as the cost of the  two animals whose names were not given and N20m for the trackers.

I wish to formally acknowledge your letter dated December 2, 2013 and other previous correspondence similar to it.

You will recall that all the letters were brought to me by hand. Although both of us discussed some of the issues in those letters, I had not, before now, seen the need for any formal reply since, to me, they contained advice from a former President to a serving President. Obviously, you felt differently because in your last letter, you complained about my not acknowledging or replying your previous letters...

President Jonathan Unveils The First Nigerian-made Drone | Photo

The first native unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, named GULMA, built by the Nigerian Air Force in Kaduna was unveiled yesterday by President Goodluck Jonathan. He declared such technological breakthrough are pointers to the country’s potential for greater deeds.

President Jonathan in his speech at the unveiling ceremony said: “We must not forget the lesson of this encouraging moment in our nation’s history; that as Nigerians we are capable of great deeds.

[ASUU STRIKE UPDATE] - FG to Inject N1.1 trillion Into Universities

Reports coming in from the meeting between President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities suggest that the strike would be called off as early as next week.

According to Punch;

A key component of the agreement reached by the parties was  that the Federal Government  would  inject N1.1tn into public universities in the next five years.

A reliable source, who made this known, also hinted that the strike would be called off anytime next week.

While the Government is busy setting up panels to probe the Aviation minister on fraudulent purchase of two BMW armored cars for N225 Million, Stella Oduah is spotted in Jerusalem in a very  "relaxed"mood.

The Aviation Minister  is part of President Jonathan's 800-man delegation to Israel on pilgrimage.

Man Claiming To Be Jonathan's ADC Arrested In Ogun State

Hassan Ayinde,50, was arrested in Agbado, Ogun State for claiming to be an Aide-De-Camp to President Goodluck Jonathan and attempting to extort money from a traditional ruler in the State.

Ayinde was arrested in the Palace of the traditional ruler while soliciting money to purchase ram for the Eid-el Kabir celebration on Monday.

Massive Looting Going On Under Jonathan – Says Baraje, New PDP

The war of words between the Old Vs New PDP continued as The chairman of the new Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, unequivocally condemned the rape of the country’s economy by the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan administration.

He said that despite claims to the contrary by the government in a futile bid to deceive Nigerians, the overwhelming evidence is that the Nigerian economy has been run aground and is now comatose.
The assertions are contained in a statement issued by the faction in Abuja, and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Chukwuemeka Eze.

[VIDEO] Asari-Dokubo Promises Bloodshed if Jonathan Loses in 2015

Mr Asari-Dokubo (Former militant and leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force) declared his full support for President Jonathan on Sunday saying the 2015 election is already settled irrespective of whether there is a contest or not.

“The way things are going, there is no sitting on the fence in the battle before us,” Mr. Asari-Dokubo tells Channels Television... “When some people say they have a right to rule and others don’t have, then there is no sitting on the fence. All of us will have to be in the ring and fight. We cannot leave Goodluck (Jonathan) alone.
