December 20th 2013

His Excellency,

Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR

Agbe L’Oba House, Quarry Road,

Ibara, Abeokuta.

RE: BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

I wish to formally acknowledge your letter dated December 2, 2013 and other previous correspondence similar to it.

You will recall that all the letters were brought to me by hand. Although both of us discussed some of the issues in those letters, I had not, before now, seen the need for any formal reply since, to me, they contained advice from a former President to a serving President. Obviously, you felt differently because in your last letter, you complained about my not acknowledging or replying your previous letters...

                                                                                                                            ...Chief Sunday Inengite

Chief Sunday Inengite remembers the day the foreigners who had come to his village in Nigeria’s Niger Delta struck oil. “They made us be happy and clap like fools, dance as if we were trained monkeys,” he says. Years later, He looks back on his youthful enthusiasm with sour regret.

Nigeria has become Africa’s biggest oil producer, but the people of Oloibiri complain they have not seen much of the money made in the 52 years of oil production. “It smacks of wickedness, hard-heartedness,” he says.

Nigeria Turns 53 - Happy Anniversary Nigeria!

"My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we'll change the world."
-Jack Layton-

As Nigeria turns 53 today, let us take time to celebrate our victories, reflect on lost grounds and where we have gone wrong as a Nation. Let us learn to love and respect one another. Nigeria is not a lost cause. There is still hope for the common man. Let us learn to speak with one voice, for only then can we achieve the "Nigeria" that will all crave for.

Happy 53rd Anniversary Nigeria!!!
                                                                                                                                             ---Manny360

We joked about a recent visit by a friend, and the recent pranks by his youngest child. Everything but politics.
