Police & Thief - Robbers Tie Up Policemen & Attack Trailer Park In Ogun

Ascon Trailer Park, Asese, Ogun State, end of Lagos-Ibadan Expressway was attacked by about 20 robbers leaving the employees on duty injured.

The robbers tied up the policemen attached to the park during an operation that lasted for about three hours last Friday. It was learnt that the policemen were sent from Lagos State. Our correspondent, who visited the park, observed that some of the property on the premises had been vandalised by the culprits..

Man, 26, Arrested for Defiling 2-year-old In Ogun State

Kehinde Adejuwon, 26, has been arrested by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly sexually assaulting a 2-year-old girl at Oja Odan in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun  State.

Muyiwa Adejobi, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, confirmed the arrest saying, “the suspect was arrested by a team of detectives attached to Ayetoro Division of the command, led by the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ayetoro, Superintendent of Police Gbola Adigun, when the father of the victim alerted the police.

Police Inspector Killed by Furious Youths in Ogun

Rage was flared up in the youths of Oke-Odan community in Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun last Monday, when security operatives shot one of them, Yinka Falola. The violence that erupted between the youths and policemen led to the killing of a police inspector, Kolapo Lasisi.

A source said a police officer, Inspector Olusesan Sounde attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Lagos, allegedly shot and killed 30-year-old Falola on Monday afternoon.

Man Claiming To Be Jonathan's ADC Arrested In Ogun State

Hassan Ayinde,50, was arrested in Agbado, Ogun State for claiming to be an Aide-De-Camp to President Goodluck Jonathan and attempting to extort money from a traditional ruler in the State.

Ayinde was arrested in the Palace of the traditional ruler while soliciting money to purchase ram for the Eid-el Kabir celebration on Monday.
