Boko Haram Strikes Again... kills 14, injures nine in Borno

14 pro-government youth vigilantes were killed on Monday as Boko Haram attacked Bama, a town in Borno State. The attack comes as a surprise as the military reported only a week ago that Boko Haram's leader Abubakar Shekau may have died between late July and early August from bullet wounds he recieved during a gun battle.

44 DEAD AS GUNMEN ATTACK A MOSQUE IN NORTHERN NIGERIA









 A mosque in Konduga town, about 30 kilometers (almost 19 miles) southeast of Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State in northern Nigeria was attacked by gunmen killing at least 44 people.

Twenty-six worshippers at the mosque were hospitalized at the emergency ward of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital. A security guard from the Hospital spoke on the terms of anonymity because they were not allowed to divulge information to reporters.
