Lawlessness In Lagos: Soldier Strangles Danfo Driver To Death Over Bus Fare

Killer Soldier - An officer of the Nigerian Army is said to have strangled a danfo bus driver to death after refusing to pay his fare. The danfo driver had to die simply because he insisted that the killer officer must pay his bus fare.

According to reports, the incident which took place at Obalende bus stop ensued after an argument between the driver and soldier when the former refused to move his vehicle from the park due to the latter's refusal to pay any fare.

95 Killed As Army Attack Boko Haram Camp

The Nigerian Army recorded another vital victory against terrorism as they attacked and destroyed a Boko Haram camp in Galangi and Limanti Villages, Borno, Killing over 95 insurgents.

The Army in a Press release signed by its spokesman LT Col Muhammad Dole stated that the operations which involved ground and aerial assault supported by the Nigerian Airforce led to the destruction of the terrorist camp, killing of over 95 insurgents, while several others escaped with gunshot wounds.

More so, Items recovered from the terrorist’s camp, according to the release includes two Isuzu Tiger Pick-up Vans and five Hilux belonging to the terrorists were destroyed, while two soldiers were wounded during the operation.

40 Killed As Army Avert Pre-Salah Attack

A pre-Sallah disaster was averted in Borno State as the Nigerian Army on Tuesday confirmed the killing of 40 Boko Haram insurgents and demolition of a vehicle wired with IEDs which was meant to be exploded  in Bama on Sunday night.

According to Capt. Aliyu Danja, Spokesman of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army, the averted attacks were targeted at Bama, Gwoza and Pulka towns in Borno. The attacks were meant to happen simultaneously.

Nigerian Army Kills 50 Boko Haram Members In Borno



New created 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Gajiram and Bulabulin Ngabua communities in Borno State killed about 50 members of the Boko Haram sect in a bloody encounter on Thursday.
