VP Namadi Sambo's Furniture & House Upgrade Gulp N2.1 Billion In Four Years

Culled from PREMIUM TIMES - Vice President Namadi Sambo is spending a fortune to furnish and upgrade his official residence and guest house, two projects costing N2.1 billion and lingering since his election alongside President Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.

In three years leading up to 2013, the government has spent a minimum of N300 million annually to furnish and upgrade the vice president’s residence and guest house, according to past and present federal budgets. Continue....

[ASUU Strike Update] FG Agrees To Spend N200b Each For Four Years

After over 3 months of failed negotiations between ASUU and the Federal Government, both parties have reached an agreement which includes the Federal Government spending  N200 billion in the 2014 budget on the universities as well as on each of the next three-four years until the universities are brought to world-class standard.
