Last week Uganda’s parliament passed a bill to toughen the punishment for homosexual acts to include life imprisonment in some cases. The bill’s original 2009 version, named “Kill The Gays,” went as far as calling for the death penalty for certain homosexual acts.
According to CNN, a man was burned to death for being gay shortly after the bill was passed.
