PR representative Justine Sacco who tweeted a racist 'joke' (See Story HERE) before boarding a flight to Cape Town, South Africa, has been fired by her employers.

Sacco Tweeted: "'Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just Kidding. I'm White!' The tweet immediately went viral as over 3,000 people retweeted her racist 'joke'. 

A spokeswoman for the company has now confirmed Sacco has indeed been sacked.

Justine Sacco, head PR representative of IAC, is under fire as her racist tweet caused a wide spread outrage on social media. While boarding a flight to Cape Town, She Tweeted: 'Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just Kidding. I'm White!'

The racist 'joke' immediately went viral  on social media as her IAC employers quickly slammed her behaviour as 'outrageous' and promised to take appropriate action'.

About 12 hours before the racist Tweet, she wrote: 'Weird German Dude: You're in first class. It's 2014. Get some deodorant' -Inner monologue as I inhale BO. Thank god for pharmaceuticals.'
