Reactions continued to pour in after Governor Amaechi of River State was prevented from entering the Government House on Thursday evening. Punch Reports that; The Progressive Governors Forum has accused President  Goodluck Jonathan of  using his powers to bully Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi  Amaechi.  The governors stated this on Friday while reacting to the  action of the armed  policemen that blocked one of the gates leading to the  Rivers State Government  House on Thursday.

The ongoing crisis in Rivers State took another turn today as Governor of River State, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and his convoy were barred from using the two entrances to the state house earlier today by four truck loads of policemen led by several senior officers.

The governor met a barricaded entrance as He tried to make his was into the Government House on Thursday evening.

After 45 minutes, the governor's convoy took the Azikiwe road entrance to the government house. See pictures from the scene after the cut...
