A 5-year-old girl and her 3-year-old cousin were kidnapped on September 12 from outside her house where she was playing at Ghausia Colony in Mughalpura.
The girl was brutally raped before being dumped in a destitute Lahore neighbourhood at about 8pm (2100 Singapore time) on September 13, a day after the kidnap.
The perpetrators dumped the girl in front of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore,
where she battled for life. The boy was found weeping outside the
hospital where he had been let off. Doctors said the child was raped
several times.
